Located in Lake County, Illinois, the Round Lake Park Business Group is comprised of businesses that have joined together in order to make us more readily available to you. We are auto body shops, groceries, and specialty stores, to name a few.

Our Mission

We have pride in our community and in our willingness to please our customers. We believe that good business means helping each other as well as our customers, and to this end, we began this Web site as a means of reaching out to you, our customer, with the same sense of camaraderie as we have with each other.

By helping each other, we will enhance harmony of interests and responsibilities, improve our community, and maintain and promote quality of goods and services. We believe that first-rate business ethics result in good business practices, friendly and exceptional service, and a better community for all.

Main Street Development Updates

Round Lake Park's Main Street Business District would like to thank voters for passing the referendum to redevelop our downtown. We are all looking forward to the coming changes that our business district will experience. If you are interested in seeing the plan for our Main Street, feel free to visit the Round Lake Park Village Hall at 203 E Lake Shore Dr. Our next Main Street Committee meeting will be held on April 27th, at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall. Be sure to check here often, as we will be posting deveopment updates as soon as they become available.

As of our last meeting in February, the tenative schedule, given to us by Northern Illinois Survey, for our Main Street Deveopment, is as follows:

*Design Approval Report by 4/15/2010

*Pre-Final Plans and Estimates by 6/15/2010

*Final Plans and Construction Contracts by 8/15/10

*Contract Letting on 1/21/11 at the State

If you are a business owner on Main Street, please review the plans that were given to you. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the plans, they must be submitted before April 15th, 2010.
